Seeds of goodness after Covid-19: reflections from the future
Starting from understanding the last 50 years of Earth Day, this session will focus on identifying and selecting the “seeds of goodness” after Covid-19 and in view of the next 50 years. The session will also try to answer the question on how to gather the 20% that can create the tipping point for a better world.

HOST: Carlo Giardinetti, Dean Executive Education and Global Outreach at the Franklin University (Switzerland).

Dialogue with Jonathon Porritt on “Can we keep the blue skies?”. We are lucky to have Jonathon (thanks to Reboot the Future). We will reflect on the origins of Earth Day, what were the issues back then, and was anyone listening? An historical perspective, what has happened, good and bad, and then what are most urgent things we have to do going forward. After a brief introduction, all of us participants will engage with Jonathon with comments and questions fishbowl style.
2 PM [GMT] > 4 PM EUROPE
Following on the first part, we start our fishbowl discussion on “How do we engage and galvanize the 20% who can create the tipping point?”
